| Synopsis | |
| Connor is a pedophile who was once very active in the online pedophile scene. | |
Connor is a pedophile who was once a very active participant in the online pedophile scene, but apparently became disenchanted and decided to cut back considerably with his online activism. He has been a long time member of the Free Spirits Coalition, and served for a time as a moderator on the BoyChat forums. He became the chief fundraiser at the Free Spirits Coalition in August 2005, in an effort aimed at raising funds to deal with server issues. He resigned that position in January 2006.
Connor has also served as the webmaster of the Freedom Board, for a brief period of time before the board was shut down in November 2004, as well as for the IBLD site, which now appears to have been abandoned. Connor rarely posts on BoyChat anymore, stating that he has spent a considerable amount of time trying to avoid the site. He appears to see the pedophile movement as being stuck in the past and would like to see more progression.

In reply to Is there a chat anywhere for TBLs posted by tallandthin on on 2006-January-29 22:00:51, Sunday They interest me even more now that my yf is one himself! Feel at home here. There's no "one type" of BL one has to be to participate here. Just post what's in your heart (provided it's within the rules of course!), and everyone else can like it or lump it. C | ” |

More to the point, might I advance the theory that the BL tendency to stay rooted to the past is exactly the sort of flawed thinking our enemies revel in pointing out? "Oh look," says the talking head on television, "they're so out of touch and twisted." I can't say that statement is 100% without merit. | ” |

[edit] Additional Quote(s)
| “ | You know I usually agree with your points Curtis, and you know also that I have spent considerable time avoiding this place, but here I feel I must address a few things.
The past means different things to different people, and really it's all a very unique and individual thing. The things I cherish about my childhood, the television shows, songs on the radio, movies that were popular, these things all form a sort of nostalgic tapestry that I can look back on fondly as I think of simpler, less complicated times. The dichotomy is that while I look back on my childhood that way, it was part of the era of "vulgarity" and degradation you speak of in your post. Quite honestly to me it sort of comes across as the words of a man who is getting older and further removed from those warm and fuzzy times in his past, times like the ones I look back on in my own life. I'm not unappreciative of what opera, art and classical music represent. They're relics of an era that was special and unique in its own way. But honestly I can't see how treasuring these things in of itself helps the "boylove cause" as it were. More to the point, might I advance the theory that the BL tendency to stay rooted to the past is exactly the sort of flawed thinking our enemies revel in pointing out? "Oh look," says the talking head on television, "they're so out of touch and twisted." I can't say that statement is 100% without merit. Can't there be a middle ground? Can't we have progress and freedom and all those things without reverting back to a time before computers, before cellular telephones, before all the nifty gadgets that without which we wouldn't even be having this conversation? I mean, do you think it's wise to throw the baby out with the bathwater? Isn't it more reasonable to demand that lawmakers and moralists use logic and rationality to make public policy decisions instead of consulting their bible or being swayed by this week's band of screechy "child advocates?" I think eschewing extremism from our political system would be a huge step in the right direction, don't you? Especially if the goal is to simplify things. | ” |
